Join us for friendship, knowledge & resources
Etobicoke Handweavers & Spinners warmly welcome new members, whether you are an experienced weaver and/or spinner or someone who is interested in learning the craft — or even learning about the craft.
You’ll become part of a friendly family of makers who share knowledge, information, activities and, more often than we probably should, treats!
Joining EHS means you have a physical home for your creative work. We meet, hold workshops, drop-ins, bag lunches and run classes at the Neilson Park Creative Centre. When you join EHS, you join Neilson Park! That membership provides you with free admission to dozens of Ontario Art Galleries, including Toronto’s Textile Museum, Power Plant, the Bata Shoe Museum and Kleinburg’s McMichael Gallery.
During the pandemic, we are intermittently able to use our Studio at Neilson Park but also conduct ZOOM activities, from meeting to workshops to drop-ins.
To join EHS, register on the Neilson Park website. The fee is $110. During the pandemic, we are also making available a ZOOM membership
Zoom Membership
EHS has found ways to remain a vital part of members’ lives in these trying times. Normally, joining EHS means joining the Neilson Park Creative Centre (NPCC), a busy hub of arts and crafts that provides a studio home for the guild. During the pandemic, however, EHS is making available a special reduced-rate ZOOM membership. That way new members can participate in monthly meetings and drop-ins, meeting fellow makers and taking advantage of our monthly program of international guest speakers.
The fee is $35. Contact us about how to register.
